Thermal Power Industry Emissions and Their Contribution to Air Quality on the Fen-Wei Plain

China has imposed an ultra-low emissions (ULE) standards policy regarding the emission concentrations of thermal power industry, and region Fen-Wei Plain (China), which is important area blue-sky protection, in urgent need accelerating transformation its units to conform with China’s ULE standards. Based on high-resolution industry inventory, this study used Comprehensive Air Quality Model extensions (CAMX) examine from associated impacts atmospheric environment Plain. (1) Spatially, highest greatest air quality contributions were concentrated Shanxi Henan areas, are regions that have considerable generation capacity. (2) In terms species, NOX represented largest contribution registered smallest reduction. (3) Temporally, sources presented summer. (4) evaluation, implementation resulted reduction by 56.82%, 27.44%, 44.55% for SO2, NOX, PM2.5, respectively. The results reflect current levels pollution attributable provide insight relation decision-making processes regional management.
